Our History
PSMA Pittsburgh originated as a chapter of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). In 2002, a group of forward-thinking local marketers decided to break away from the LMA to establish a more inclusive organization, expanding the group's original membership base to include all professional service marketers – whether they come from legal, accounting, engineering, architecture, construction, banking, insurance or any other number of professional service backgrounds. Today, the PSMA brings together over 100 professionals at all levels: from CMOs to entry-level specialists – and everyone in between. Our network includes professionals from firms of all sizes and disciplines, consultants and vendors, service providers and marketing students.
